外汇入门：掉期是什么意思
掉期是指在外汇市场上买进即期外汇的同时又卖出同种货币的远期外汇，或者卖出即期外汇的同时又买进同种货币的远期外汇，也就是说在同一笔交易中将一笔即期和一笔远期业务合在一起做，或者说在一笔业务中将借贷业务合在一起做。
在掉期交易中，把即期汇率与远期汇率之差，即升水或贴水叫做掉期率。
外汇掉期（Foreign Exchange Swap）又称为时间套汇（Time Arbitrage）是指在同一个外汇市场上同时进行买卖期限不同而金额相等的外汇。
