2.Gold: Gold prices held steady Wednesday as the dollar gave back some of its earlier gains in the session and investors awaited clues on rate hikes from the Jackson Hole central bank presidents' meeting.
3.Crude Oil: Oil prices closed higher on Wednesday, with volatile intraday movements, on concerns that the U.S. would not consider additional concessions to Iran in its response to the resumption of the draft Iran nuclear deal. If the nuclear deal is reinstated, Iran, a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), would be able to resume crude oil exports.
4.Stocks:
The S&P 500 closed 0.29% higher at 4140.77.
The Nasdaq rose 0.41% to 12,431.53.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.18% to 32,969.23.
