1.Forex: USD index fell 0.376% to 108.58 on Tuesday, having earlier touched 109.27, its highest level since hitting a new 20-year high in mid-July.
2.Gold: Gold prices rose on Tuesday, ending a six-day losing streak, after data released showed weak U.S. corporate activity, dragging the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields lower.
3.Crude oil:
Brent crude rose 3.9 percent to close at $100.22 a barrel.
U.S. crude rose 3.7 percent to close at $93.74 a barrel.
4. Stocks:
The S&P 500 fell 0.22% to close at 4128.73
The Nasdaq was flat at 12,381.30 points.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.47% to 32,909.59 points.
